What are UR E26 and UR E27?
UR E26 is IACS unified requirement for ship cyber resilience, applicable to vessels. UR E27 is cybersecurity requirements for onboard systems and equipment, applicable to system integrators and equipment suppliers.
Which vessels need to comply with UR E26/E27?
New vessels with building contracts signed on or after July 1, 2024 must comply with UR E26/E27 requirements. Existing vessels are not mandatory but cybersecurity assessment is recommended.
How long does certification typically take?
Certification time depends on vessel complexity and existing system status, generally 3-6 months from project start to certification. We will develop a detailed project plan based on specific circumstances.
